I hope that is not the case and there is a valid explanation.
Reading Andrew Breitbarts book, the situation was almost the same when Regan was elected, with left wing violence and intimidation being ignored, or excused.
Oh, it existed then, but was far from as open and universal as it is now. In Chicago, and other places Dems had in complete control, near the same but elsewhere, not so much. My dad was active in politics as the sole republican in town and we never had any overt issues.
I have mixed feelings about the whole kidney donation process.
Aftercare sucks for the donor. No one cares about the donor and that’s what made me change my mind about donating a kidney to my son n law. Can’t trust the medical community to do the right thing. It’s all about the money.
That is interesting to learn. Not surprising, sadly. But I believe that is relatively new too. My uncle donated a kidney to his father close to 40 years ago and if there were any issues, he keep it secret all these years.
Seems like there are 2 primary reasons, ignorance or money. IMO money is more likely.
There is also malice, if the patient didn't align to the correct political party*.
This only works for some "experts" with a D in their political persuasion.
In today’s climate, for sure. But 15 years ago? Then again, all this current madness began years before I was on to it.
I hope that is not the case and there is a valid explanation.

What an awful discovery Kitsune.
I hope that someone is able to forcibly extract a straight answer from that doctor.
