Hello, friend. I’ve noticed in the recent years there tends to be a great attention paid to all things “western” by the free Asian people. South Korea and Japan mostly. And they aren’t embracing John Wayne, but the sick boy as little girl crap that as a country of mental midgets, we have unfortunately lapped up. The boy bands of the east go out of their way to look effeminate, with the skinny, little cute boys getting the roles. It’s rather twisted, but rest assured, it’s going to go away. Eventually dads will take over again and kick their little gay boys back to reality. Already starting to happen here, so y’all aren’t far behind. Peace and luck. I’m trying to picture a tough effeminate welder, and the picture won’t focus.
One of the things that I have despaired over for a couple of decades now is that while the US has a multitude of great ideas and institutions, it isn’t those that Japan is importing. Likewise, Japan has much that is great to offer, but it is not these that are exported. It is the profane and silly that we are trading and replace much of what made each great with. Maddening.
"Importing" implies an active choice on the side of the Japanese people. However, is it not so that these things arrive mostly by sneaking in with language courses on the social side and investors on the economic side?
Then you have more focused organizations like the US Temple University who has been working to shape the nation for over 40 years. Collaborating with things like the feminist "slut walk" event.
Or the UN for that matter, in which Japan has tightly integrated as a form of "reparations".
There certainly is a lot of that, but there is also the active importing of idiocy. Pass or fail being the only grades for many primary schools is one biggie I recall from the 90s.
I don't think you're wrong, but what to do about it. Nothing is likely the best answer, you shouldn't have even written this column, you are Playing With Fire.
Of course, maybe it will burn down the whole system, no, we couldn't be that lucky.
I know I am playing with fire, but I was a fireman (Before working my way up to petty officer.) in the navy and thus accustomed to getting burned.
This is the issue I have been expecting to end my career for years before the panic. Various women’s universities in Japan have publicly stated that they will accept trans students who wish to enroll in their schools. I thought it was earlier, but the earliest reference I can find of women’s schools in Japan accepting trans students is 2018. I teach at a women’s university and have discussed this issue with my students. They are all for it, though they are against men attending their school. They demonstrated a complete lack of awareness on the issue beyond the official proclamations, just as with every other issue.
I will not address a man as a women by any female pronoun and have been expecting to be fired over my refusal the first time I have such a student in my class. Never expected masks would be the issue causing me grief. The LGBTQWTFO nonsense may still be the last knife that finally kills me, if I survive the mad maskers’ attacks long enough.
Good for you for writing about this subject! These mentally ill people are supported by the system Wanting to completely destroy the family unit and end procreation Everything is upside down/ topsy-turvy. And…ugh..I couldn’t stand dealing with anybody who is wearing a mask all day

Nor should such an image focus.

Masks may be the issue that has given you a new lease on life. God, or whatever your belief system, works in funny ways, don't you think.
Hard to say. I have been fighting against masks being used against flu and colds here for over 20 years prior to Covid.
Well, one thing at a time!
If only they threw only one thing at us at a time.
We can't be expected to solve them all, simultaneously. That is what God is all about, have faith, really we have nothing else.

I'm mostly "you do you" as long as it doesn't affect someone else.
Except, as per your lede, this case sounds more like their cult uniform than them being themself.
Also, aren't these medical students? Noticeable makeup and jewellery is really not good in that case.
Something I would've expected more from Temple University.

The whole kanji, or just the pronunciation?
If you're curious there are sites (such as https://namegen.jp/yomikata?name=%E8%AA%A0) that has statistics on names.
