The ignorance of the people supporting illegal immigration is dumbfounding. Through this, I have "found" that many people are "dumb".

As if we needed more proof.

to my recollection FATCA was passed during Obama and was “ sold “ to the public as necessitated by rich Fat Cats hiding their loot in evasion of taxes in Swiss banks… the reality couldn’t be further from that fantasy narrative

Exactly correct.

The FBAR fines and passport revocation are also from Obama’s reign.

Yet another example of how the leader of the free world is anything but that. Ultimately, we all have the right to travel and move freely as long as we cause no harm to others. Those illegals would have the same right in theory but they relinquish that right when their actions cause harm to American citizens.

All have the right to leave their homelands but none have the right to enter another country without that country’s permission. No country is as permissive with those who violate immigration law as the US has been.

The best analogy I can think of is...saying illegal immigration is legal because they aren't bothering anyone is like saying someone squatting in your attic is not illegal because they aren't bothering anyone. Who knows, they may even clean your place or do odd chores while you are at work. But regardless of how they got into your house, they were not invited, were they?

I don't think all illegal aliens have fake social security cards. I imagine a great many of them are paid informally. For instance, my neighbor down the street, while in high school did not know my social security number when I got paid for pulling weeds in his yard.

If I broke into someone's vacation home, stayed there, and restocked the fridge before leaving, I would still be guilty of breaking and entering and stealing. The onus is then on the other party on if they want to drop the charges.

As far as immigration laws go, I think they should be changed to make it more efficient for people who want to come into this country. By the way, one of the first indicators of fascism is "are people running to or running from your county?"

"How Much Do Illegal Immigrants Cost the U.S.?" For the year 2023 alone, it was $150.7 BILLION, and that number would have otherwise been $182 billion, but an estimated $32 billion of tax contributions made by illegal immigrants was subtracted.

Who hoo! Thanks for this. Can use this in the fight against the dunderheads. It is also from a source that they are less likely to dismiss out of hand.

Yes, Newsweek, believe it or not. I knew when I read it that the normies/sheeple couldn't bitch about the source. I've already used it plenty of times to counter online morons who are encouraging the onslaught of invaders (especially ones who argue that the illegals "pay plenty of taxes"), and so far, no one has replied to try to discredit that article's info.

They never do. They just move on to the next target they think they can sway by tugging on the heart strings.
