When universes collide.
Last week I walked past the buildings in the photo below as I do at least once a week on my way to one of my jobs. For those who may not recognize the location, it is Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan; land of anime, manga, MOE and maid cafes.
Out of one of the stores floated a tune that is so familiar to me that I automatically sang along even as discordant confusion swept over me as a rouge wave. A few steps past and I froze mid step as if the command AVAST came from the old man himself. A sea shanty?!???!!! In Akihabara???!!?
These two yardarm to yardarm is is almost enough to drive an old salt to swear off his grog ration.
The DTs are probably not as bad.
