Yes, the skill of the artists is admirable and hard to believe. The emphasis on atmosphere as a 'character' unto itself is crazy-good (cloud and snow embossing, rain and water, etc.). And the women.
Goddesses. As luscious as 40's pinup girls and a lot more subtle.
My "jam" is the kimonos: those patterns, flow, texture, color, contrast of the negative space as important as positive.
I was so enamored with these prints that it took me three days to scroll through them all and I still did not have time to give them the attention they deserve. (As an undergrad, I was an Art History major but never studied Asian art.)
"This attention to detail by these craftsmen/artists transforms their works into something truly special." I was thinking exactly the same thing just before I came upon your comment!
Absolutely beautiful. Enchanting.
I tried to find a reference in your commentary to the size of the prints. I apologize if I missed that. Could you please give me an idea of their average dimensions?
Most are Oban, large size, of roughly 38.8×26 cm. One that arrived this morning is of this measurement. A few of those I recently bought are of smaller sizes, but most are this size. Most of the ones I had from before are smaller. Some images were published in different sizes at or near the same time.
Beautiful!
Stunning!

Your collection is FABULOUS! Bravo!
Even someone like me, who knows nothing about art and has zero talent in this area, can appreciate these prints. I love the surreal quality.
