Mask update
If this keeps up much longer, I am heading for prison or the funny farm.
It being warmish, I rode my bike down to pick up the 10 year old from cram school again tonight. Last time the talk on the way home was all about SDGs. Tonight I asked if all the teachers at the cram school were still wearing masks. No but most are. Then I asked about the kids. Half are. Then I asked about elementary school. ALL TEACHERS ARE MASKED. Some for all students in their class except my kid. Surprised, I asked about the one other kid who took their’s off as soon as allowed. Yes, they too are wearing a mask again. They have hay fever. So I asked if they are also wearing a mask indoors. Yes, they are. Why? The windows must be left open, so hay fever sufferers wear a mask indoors (Though I doubt that is the only reason, we will get to why in a moment.). Why are the windows open during hay fever season? To dry the air. What? Why? Corona. Then I learn that my kid is not only the only unmasked Pedro’s on in the classroom, but that the teachers are angry with my kid for not wearing a mask. Not sure if my kid puts one on once yelled at or not. If they are, they are not washing their masks as I hang up the laundry after my wife washes it.

I've thought about writing and illustrating a children's story called "Why Have All The Grown-Ups Gone Crazy?" or another one called "Is That Really A Good Idea?"
Fox Spirit, I cannot persuade you to move your family from a country that will always be closed to you. However, I can suggest you try Vitamin B2 and Quercetin to reduce your allergies.
