It has been a loooooong time since I have stopped by anyplace to drink on the way home. At least since the wife was pregnant with The Kid; that was 13 years ago.
Slept in a bit today. Have been running on fumes this past few days. Needed the extra two hours of sleep but really needed it to clean. However, I would have been too much of a zombie to effectively get anything done.
It is amazing how much more I can accomplish without the threat of being interrupted on a moment’s notice.
Moving out of the family home is definitely a big change, but I think it's going to be really good for you! That said, it's a lot of upheaval initially so I'm not surprised that you're exhausted.
Going back to the house after the first night at my apartment was weird. It was apparent that I no longer belong there. Can feel it. The sources are from both the house and from within myself.
I too have wondered how and why. Yesterday, the answer became known to me. Separating my stuff from family and preexwife stuff I opened a couple of photo albums. While there have always been the occasional difficulty, there are over 20 years of fabulously wonderful memories with these same people and until I began the move, there too was hope that we could again begin building upon these.
An Izakaya end to any day is a great end to the day! Wishing you a smooth transition...
Thanks.

Let's aim for March! Make sure you find an excellent spot between now and then.
Hmm. Giving Kitsune something to hunt for? Nay, something worthy of hunting for! This smacks as therapeutic.
Wishing you all the best in your new place.
Congrats on the move, hope the new space soon feels like home.

Understandable. I honestly don't know how you got through the last year living with such relentless tension.
